Within the scope of “Civil Society Dialogue V and Civil Society Support Programme-II
Between Turkey and the EU Project”, implemented by Directorate for EU Affairs under
Instrument for Pre-Accession (IPA) and financed by the EU, CSO Meeting in regional scale
was organized 5 July 2022, in Hilton Bursa Convention Center.
Opening speeches under the title of “Capacity Building of Local CSOs within the scope of
Civil Sector and Funds Opportunities for CSOs” had been made by Ahmet Hakan Atik
(Republic Turkey Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Directorate for EU Affairs, Head of Department
of Project Implementation), Adnan Zengin (Republic Turkey Minister of Internal Affairs,
General Directorate for Civil Society Relations, Head of Department of Operations and
Legislations) and Mustafa Özsoy (Deputy Governor of Bursa)
After opening speeches, three different panels under the heads of “Capacity Building of
Local CSO’s and Good Examples”, “Collaboration Between Public and Civil Society in Local
and Good Examples” and “Local Advocacy and Good Examples” were respectively held on by
different civil society actors.
