The 3rd Steering Committee of the Civil Society Support Programme took place on the online platform on November 6, 2020. A. Hakan Atik, Head of Project Implementation, The Directorate for EU Affairs, mentioned the importance of Civil Society Support Programme’s role in the strengthening the civil society and CSOs in Turkey at his opening speech. The meeting continued with the presentations of Team Leader Jelle Verheij, Grant Expert Jale Velibeyoğlu and Communication Expert Zeynep Uygurer from the Programme Technical Support Team about the ongoing activities within the scope of the Programme.
Representatives from public institutions and organizations also attended to the meeting, where the achievements and ongoing activities of the projects of Partnerships & Networks Grant Program were explained by the CSO representatives.
At the end of the program, the views and suggestions of participations from the public institutions were received for the establishment of sustainable cooperation between the public and CSOs.
